SOLD!!!

This is a brooch worthy of an opera diva, it's huge! This rare pin measures 3 3/8" wide by 2 3/4" tall. The design has what looks like a fountain in the center that is flanked by peacocks and leafs. The gold plating on this pin is heavy and of good quality. The back is signed Beverly Sills © and the condition of the pin excellent. It is really like new. An identical brooch was just sold by Doyle, New York at the auction of the Estate of Beverly Sills. It was lot number 409, "Group of Costume Jewelry". This lot also had two other lesser items and was described as "Comprising one large brooch signed Beverly Sills, one metal collar stay and one imitation pearl fleur-de-lys brooch". The lot sold for $225.00. I can find no record of a commercial line of jewelry using Beverly Sills' name. Perhaps she produced the pin privately to give to friends or fans. Insured shipping in the USA will be $6.00, and shipping costs for multiple purchases are automatically discounted.
