A lovely vintage sterling and enamel brooch with an arts & crafts style design. The colors are mauve and white, with silver and gold accents. It measures 2” x 3/4" and weighs 10 grams. Marked “Sterling”, “Genuine Cloisonne”, as well the makers mark of the Watson Company. Finished with a safety pin clasp, it is in excellent condition, with no enamel wear or other wear to note. The Watson Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts produced a general line of jewelry goods and flatware, this pin is circa 1915. |

According to her web site some of her clients included Christian Dior, John Galliano, Lanvin, Kenzo, Escada, Christofle, Balenciaga, Arthus-Bertrand, Givenchy, Thierry Mugler, Valentino, Nina Ricci, Claude Montana, Rochas, Donna Karan. This brooch is very similar to jewelry she produced for Christian Dior that was featured in the August issue of Vogue in 1991. The pin measures 2 1/2” x 1 1/2” and weighs 20.4 grams. 1920s cast silver brooch with the biblical figure Rachel. In the bible Jacob gets his first glimpse of the beautiful Rachel, who was tending her father's sheep. (Genesis 29:17). This brooch measures 1-7/8" across and also has delicated wire filigree work. The hebrew at the bottom of the pin says "Rachel". The back is marked "ST 925 made in Palestine" and the pin has an old "C" clasp. Condition is excellent, but worthy of note is a long seam at the top of the pin that looks like a scratch. This pin is 1 1/2" across and is signed "925S MIC SWEDEN STERLING". It is also marked D9 (for 1954) along with other swedish hallmarks. The center of the pin has a beautiful bezel set moonstone. Vintage English sterling silver cigarette case that belonged to King Farouk of Egypt with royal emblem. This Art Deco style cigarette case measures 4-1/2" by 3-1/2" and weighs 4.97 ounces. In the upper left hand corner is an emblem that has the letter F with a crown on top. The case was made in England and according to the assay marks was manufactured in 1946. It is in near mint condition and looks like it never used. It comes in its original case and has a bill of sale from Onnig Jewelers of Cairo Egypt. The bill sale, written in French, references "One cigarette case from the collection of King Farouk". Onnig was a well know jeweler with a shop near the Cairo Museum. It has a deep royal blue guilloche enamel border with a hand painted center. The back is marked "GESCHUETZT" and which means "Patented" in German. Nice vintage pocket watch by Hamilton in 14K white gold filled S12 case. This watch is typical of the smaller, slimer sizes popular in the 1920's and 1930's. This pocket watch is in very good condition but the dial does have some wear. Case is excellent with no wear through to the gold fill. The watch is in running condition and keeps good time. It is triple signed; case, movement, and dial are all marked Hamilton. Serial number on the movement is 3,292,127 and the estimated production date is 1938. Pair of vintage sterling silver salt & pepper shakers made by Redlich & Company between 1890-1946. They are in a Georgian style and are made of solid sterling silver (no weighting material). Each is 4 5/8" tall and are hallmarked on the bottoms with Sterling, 9084, and Redlich's makers mark (see inset picture). They are made from heavy gauge silver and total weight is 3.6 troy ounces. This vintage pin exemplifies the concept of jewelry as art. It is entirely hand-made and stamped sterling. The covered bridge and landscape are set into a deep frame that is 1/4" wide. Lovely vintage ladies pendant watch, manual wind, by Abercrombie and Fitch in a sterling silver case accented with blue enamel case. The pearl and light blue colored dial has a nice Art Deco design. This pendant watch measures 24mm in diameter (about 1"). The case back has a clear crystal so you can see the movement. The watch movement has the Swiss code AXF (Abercrombie and Fitch) and is signed "Home W Co. Swiss 15 Jewels". The case is unmarked but was tested and found to be sterling silver. Circa 1930's or 1940's and this watch works very well and keeps accurate time. The cosmetic condition is excellent but there is one tiny ding in the blue enamel. Antique Victorian ring with 14K gold setting, circa 1890. This wonderful piece of jewelry holds two garnet and glass doublet stones that measures about 6mm by 4mm. Garnet and glass doublets were very common in Victorian times used to imitate ruby, emerald and sapphire. This "assembled stone" has a red garnet top, glued to a red colored glass bottom. They are highly collectible in their own right. This ring also has 4 four tiny rose cut diamonds. The ring face measures about 3/8 inch north/ south, and about 1/2 inch from east to west.
