Original etching by artist Phillip Kappel titled "Holiday Shopping Barranquilla, Columbia S.A.". This small version of the work was sent as a Christmas Card in 1978. The person who kept and framed the etching attached the interior of the card to the back of the frame. On it was printed "Best Wishes for A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year - Philip Kappel". It blue ink he wrote "Dear Kari & Hans: It's never too late to wish you a fine 1978. Philip". The card also has his address and zip in the right corner (Roxbury, CT 06783). An unusual item for the Philip Kappel or artist Christmas card collector. Condition of the item is very good. Please excuse the photo of the back, the shadows make the attached card appear darkly stained but it is not.
