Antique small spoon with a wide pierced bowl made by Towle in the Old English pattern. The spoon is 4-1/8" long and is marked Sterling pat. 1892 with the Towle trademark. Condition is very good, with almost no wear to the gilding on the bowl, and the weight is .58 oz.
