 
Vintage 1950s Gruen Mechanical Wrist Watch - Fancy Lugs and "Veri-Thin" Movement
 1950s Gruen mechanical wrist watch with a round style case. The case of this watch has a yellow gold filled top and stainless back. The movement is marked "Gruen Watch Co Seventeen Precision Jewels 17 Veri-Thin Patented". To give an indication of the case size, the front measures 1-1/4" wide (including the crown) by 1-1/2" tall. Cosmetic condition: case, crown, dial, and crystal in good to very good condition. Mechanical condition: will run and keeps good time. I have no idea when the watch movement was last cleaned, oiled, and timed. It is being sold as is, no guarantee is implied.
