 
Vintage 1940's Crown Trifari Jewelry - Gold Tone with Rhinestones and Faux Turquoise Brooch and Earring Set - Designed by Alfred Phillipe
 Vintage Trifari brushed gold tone brooch and earring set circa 1948. This pin measures 1-3/4" across by 1-1/4" high and has a circle safety catch. The setting is in near mint condition and the back is marked "Trifari (with crown) Des Pat No 151554". Alfred Phillippe patented the design of the pin in 1948. The clip earrings measure 1" by 3/4" and are marked "Trifari" with copyright symbol. All pieces are accented with clear and faux turquoise. Condition: the rhinestones on all the pieces have turned medium gray in color loosing much of their original sparkle. All else is near mint with no missing stones.
