"American Gothic" pin or brooch in sterling silver made by Hand & Hammer in the 1990's. This wonderful pin measures 2" by 1 1/2" and is marked H&H de Mateo sterling. The center of the pin is a separate piece and the farmer & wife swing back and forth on hinge. An amusing twist on Grant Wood's classic painting (please click into the item to see another photo).
