This cover was designed by Henry Stahlhut and features a secretary taking a memo in shorthand. It is in very good condition with minor soiling but no deep creases in the image, tears, scrapes, water damage, or chipping. The original Fortune magazine covers were printed using the gravure process on heavy paper. It gave the magazine the classy and special look that got subscribers to part with the $1.00 cover price in the middle of the depression.
