Beautiful large catholic religious medal of the Virgin Mary and Jesus in 14K gold. The medal measures 1" across in size, and weighs 5.1 grams. On the reverse side is the the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This medal is an estate piece and is approx. 20 - 30 years old. It has nice die-struck repoussé work that creates a two dimensional effect. The quality of this work is similar that of pieces produced during the Art Nouveau era. This medal is marked "OMST 14K Mex" and condition is very good with no dings or dent, only a small amount of surface wear.
