Lovely Modernist bony or skeleton fish piece from Mexico! The pendant was probably modeled after the famous fish necklace done by Los Castillo. It is vintage, circa 1965, and signed by artist EAC who is noted in Hougart's book on Mexican Silver marks. The fish is jointed so that it moves giving it a real sense of energy and motion. This pendant measures 4" x 1 3/4" (including the bale) and also has the number 1 eagle mark. Condition is very good.
