 
Set of 8 1950's Sterling Silver Hors d Oeuvre or Cocktail Picks, or Toothpicks - Made by Maricela Taxco Mexico
Wonderful and whimsical set of 8 sterling silver hors d oeuvre or cocktail picks made by Maricela in Taxco Mexico. Each pick has a different design: a prickly pear cactus, a rooster, a siesta man, a house, a saguaro cactus, a sombrero, a horse, and a blanket. The back of each is marked "Sterling 925 Maricela Tasco". The picks are in very good condition with no problems to note and come in the original box. The box can best be described as being in shabby chic condition or just plain worn. On the back of the box is the original price sticker marked "Aztec Curio Shop Juarez Mexico $3.50". This set is C1950/1960, very good quality and weight, it is vastly different from the inexpensive sets just marked "Mexico 925". Please click on the main image to see multiple photos of this item.
