Signed Vintage MIKIMOTO 14K Gold Brooch with Grey Pearls

This vintage (circa 1970's) 14k pearl brooch is is a classic example of Mikimoto craftmanship. It is beautifully made with 7 Akoya cultured grey pearls each measuring 7.5 mm. The pearls are set in a graceful frame of 14k gold. The approx. measurements of this brooch are 1" x 1 1/2" and it weighs 9.4 grams. It is stamped with K Mikimoto, Tokyo, the Mikimoto signature M in a clamshell, and K14.
