This bronze medal measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter and the front has an eagle on a closed book and sword, encircled by the words "EFFICIENCY HONOR FIDELITY". On the reverse is a five-pointed star and a scroll between the words "FOR GOOD" and "CONDUCT", surrounded by a wreath formed by a laurel branch on the left and an oak branch on the right. The Army Navy "E" award pins were given out between 1942-1945. There were 4,283 plants, approximately half a million workers, that received the Army-Navy E Award representing about 5% of the total number of plants that performed war work. This Pin is 1 inch wide and 3/8 inches high. The back is marked "Army Navy Production Award Design Pat 134959". It is in excellent condition with no damage and the clasp works fine. This 20 CENTAVOS coin from THE PHILIPPINES, issued in 1944 at the Denver Mint during WWII. Obverse depicts female blacksmith, value and origin. Reverse depicts arms of United States administration, date and legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. A terrific bit of coinage in SILVER from the WWII period of the Philippines. The coin is in good condition with fairly minimal marks and a strong strike. It was most likely brought back to the U.S.A. by a returning WWII era GI. Price: $7.00
