1970s Seiko automatic men's wrist watch with stainless case. The case back of this watch is marked "Stainless Steel 7009-5008 Water Resistent 7D0836 Japan-M Seiko". To give an indication of the case size, the front measures 1-1/2" wide by almost 1-3/4" tall (38.5mm by 41.5mm). Cosmetic condition: crown, crystal, dial, in excellent/very good condition. Case very persentable but has scratches and loss of brushed finish. Mechanical condition: will run and keeps accurate time, even when not worn overnight. Day/date functions fine, day changes by pushing in on the crown. A special feature of this watch the two-tone dial. The watch has an adjustable, new-old-stock stainless band that was made in Hong Kong. This is a heavy and rugged watch, and the case and band weigh 2.63 ounces or 81.9 grams. I'm sure the crystal could be removed and the scratches polished out. The photos tell the condition story.
