 
1920's Shell Cameo of Bacchus in Fancy Filigree Frame - Brooch or Pendant
 Vintage hand carved Italian shell cameo of Bacchus in a gold filled filigree setting. The size is 2 by 1 1/2. The setting is marked "1/20 12K G F Sterling Base". Circa 1920, this cameo really shows off the carver's skill. It was done by an artist as opposed to a skilled craftsman. Some stress cracks show on the back of the cameo but are not seen on the front. This cameo can be worn as a pin or a pendant.
