Vintage 1970's Gold Tone Fireman's Hat with Black Enamel - Stanlee

Product Description

Unusual firemen hat brooch or pin with black enamel, circa 1970's. It measures 2" wide by 7/8" high and the plaque on the front is marked "FD". The pin is signed on the back "Stanlee". This piece was made for jewelry wholesaler and designer Stanley Zukowski. He called his company "Jewels by Stanlee” and did not start designing until late in his career. You will not find many examples of his work, which is too bad because the quality is outstanding. Luckily I was able to acquire pieces directly from his family.
