 
Vintage Mexican Jewelry - 925 Sterling Silver and Crushed Turquiose Inlay Necklace
 This wonderful swirl/winged/wave design is classic a design often seen in older pieces from the best of the silver maestros of Taxco, Mexico. The necklace measures 15" long from end to end. The center teardrop pendant is 1-3/8" tall and 5/8" wide. The links are connected together with sturdy silver rings that are barely visible from the front, and the clasp is a box type. This is a sturdy jewelry piece, but not too heavy, and very comfortable to wear. The necklace weighs almost 2 ounces, or 57.8 grams. Condition is near mint for this C1970 piece. The back clasp looks to be marked "AA 925" along with illegible words and the number 2 eagle mark.
