Vintage 1960s Wyler self-winding or automatic wrist watch with round two-tone style case. The case of this watch has a yellow gold plated top and the rest is stainless. To give an indication of the case size, the front measures almost 1-1/4" wide (not including the crown) or 29mm across. It is nearly 1-1/2" tall or it measures 36mm lug to lug. The back of the case is marked "Stainless Steel Wyler Incaflex Waterproof 3870/1023H". Wyler used a unique shock resistance system called Incaflex to protect the balance wheel. Advertisements proclaimed “The world’s only watch with the self-protecting heart”. Cosmetic condition: case, crown, dial and crystal in very good condition. Mechanical condition: will run and keeps good time. I have no idea when the watch movement was last cleaned, oiled, and timed. It is being sold as is, no guarantee is implied.
