Vintage 835 silver dinner bell that portrays a colonial era woman and was made in Peru. This woman wears a "tapada" - a headcovering worn in the cities enabling women to go out and about, incognito. It covered all except one eye! This bell stands 3" tall and up to 1 3/4" wide. It is marked 835 Peru and weighs 68.3 grams or 2.2 troy ounces. The design is exellent, with lots of detail.
