 
Vintage Sterling Silver Ashtray - Richard Dimes
Vintage sterling silver ashtray by Richard Dimes, marked on the bottom sterling RD 4 Q. The shell design of this piece reminds me of Mexican silver work. The Richard Dimes Company of Boston Mass. was founded in 1908 and was sold in 1955. This ashtray is 3" across, weighs 30.7 grams, and is in excellent condition.
