Large vintage 1970's Native American bolo slide on a woven black leather cord with sterling silver tips. The slide measures 2 7/8" tall by 2 1/8" wide and is marked BCT (with pipe symbol) Sterling. This bolo showcases the talents of the Navajo silversmith and painter Robert Becenti Jr. Robert Becenti has won 1st place at the Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial in Gallup numerious times (1974-1976, 1979, 1981, and 1993). His work has been exhibited at The Heard Museum, and showcased in the December 1990 issue of "Southwest Art".
